Founder of Lumen
Adam Lloyd is based East Anglia and is the driving force behind Lumen Electrical Contractors. With a rich background spanning over two decades in the electrical industry, he has honed his skills across various sectors, including food manufacturing, construction, and diverse commercial and domestic installations. In 2019, drawing upon his extensive expertise, Adam established Lumen Electrical Contractors, a pivotal moment in his entrepreneurial journey. Presently, the team embodies a diverse wealth of knowledge, ranging from electrical testing to robot installations, as well as solar and EV installations.
As Lumen continues to expand, its mission revolves around meeting the growing household and commercial needs for sustainable living and working practices in our ever-evolving world. Emphasizing a collaborative team environment, Lumen is dedicated to supporting project requirements, believing that this approach consistently yields exceptional results.

Adam Lloyd
As the founder and CEO of the company, Adam has a decade of extensive experience in the M&E contracting industry, with a primary focus on both commercial and domestic electrical services. During this time, Adam has been instrumental in propelling the company to its current standing. As a dedicated and passionate leader, he now concentrates on steering the group's strategic direction towards prosperous future. Using his comprehensive understanding of all aspects of business management, Adam is dedicated to ensuring that the group operates at the highest standards, while fostering an environment where individuals can truly thrive and Grow in a sustainable way. In his personal time Adam enjoys spending time with his family and can often be found at a comedy show or music gig.
Anthony
Hi my name is Anthony but my colleges call me chopper, I began working for lumen two years ago and in this time I have been working towards finishing my City & Guilds Level 2&3, electrical installer qualification which will enable me to follow my passion in installing electrical solar panels and building a more sustainable future. In my personal time I enjoy traveling and sampling foods from around the world whilst following my home rugby team Samoa.
Jamie
I have been working within Lumen since 2020 and have witnessed its expansion. My journey in the industry commenced in 2010, primarily focusing on data, fibre, and telecoms. Over the years, I have contributed to numerous structured cabling installations within commercial and industrial sectors. Since joining Lumen, my focus has shifted towards the food production industry, where I have also built my knowledge to do electrical installations in a fast-paced environment. Recently, I successfully completed my site supervisor's course and am working towards advancing my career within the company. In my personal time, I enjoy playing football, gaming, and enjoying leisurely walks with my dogs.
Ricky
My name is Ricky and I’ve been working at Lumen Electrical for 3 years now. I’m a fully qualified electrician, with over 15 years’ experience working in different sectors of the electrical trade.
During my time with lumen, I have been part of the team that has delivered multiple projects to our customers, my favourite being a a complete refurbishment of a commercial kitchen and board room.
In my spare time I enjoy taking my son to play rugby at the weekends and taking my daughter training to be a competition level gymnast. I also enjoy the weekends where I can get the BBQ out in the sun!

My name is Chris Wright, I have been with lumen since October 2023. I have previously worked within several different areas of the industry from an electrical mechanical engineer in the confectionary industry to a lead renewables engineer installing EV chargers, solar PV panels and battery storage in domestic and commercial premises.
While being with Lumen, I have been working on a wide variety of installation projects. One of my favourite projects was designing, building, and installing a conveyor belt control panel for valued client.
In my personal time I enjoy spending time with my family. With two young children, a good work/ life balance is important to me, I also enjoy taking time out and competing in off road motorcycle racing.
